Edinburgh born Peter Sawkins is the youngest and first Scottish winner of The Great British Bake Off when he won in 2020. He won the show whilst studying Accounting and Finance at The University of Edinburgh. Since 2020 he has published two baking books (Peter Bakes and Peter’s Baking Party), grown a large online following and performed his own Edinburgh Festival Fringe show. He continues to work in Sport at The University of Edinburgh, whilst continuing to develop his passion for and work in the field of baking.
